About the ADDYs
The ADDY Awards are the advertising and marketing industry's largest and most recognized competition. Your path to glory starts here, with the Mid-Michigan ADDYs.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local ADDY Awards are the first of a three-tiered national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants are vying for recognition as the very best in their markets. Local winners then compete against other winners within their regions in one of 14 District competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the National ADDY Awards competition. Entry in our local ADDY competition is the first step toward winning a National ADDY.
The student ADDY Awards is also a three-tiered national competition, which is sponsored by the AAF and National Ad 2. Occurring in conjunction with the prestigious ADDY Awards, the Student ADDY Awards recognize and reward creative excellence by college-level students.
Selection of the most creative entry in each category is conducted by a standardized scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. Non-partisan, nationally renowned judges come from outside the region and with expertise in various facets of advertising. Superior and outstanding creative work will be recognized with GOLD and SILVER ADDY Awards, and a very select few will be deemed Best In Show.
A big party is the only way to celebrate the winners, view the work and share the glory with the greater community. The ADDY Awards are your chance to prove to your clients that your ideas were worth the risk. Your chance to earn impressive hardware for bare office walls. Your seldom-offered chance to bask in the limelight, at least until the world ends. Join us for the mid-Michigan ADDY Awards.

Please drop off 2 copies of each entry. One is for judging, the other is for display in the gallery at the Award Ceremony. For identification purposes, please affix your business card to the back of the display copy only. All video and broadcast should be submitted on a playable DVD.
